Winter Holiday and Christmas Celebration Guidance

“Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way; oh what fun it is to ride on a one-horse pulling slay – eh!” We at GraduationMall simply cannot wait until Christmas – a beautiful time of year in which we all not only remember the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ whom we as Christians believe is the Son of God, but it is also a time in which all of our friends around the world get the opportunity to spend time with their families and to share memorable moments that last for a lifetime. In the United States, this time of year is accompanied by the gorgeous season of winter – a season that is accompanied by bittersweet temperatures, peculiar snowflakes, and snow – a beautiful blanket of white bliss that gives every property a nice touch. This special season is very important every year because for once every year families come closer and people re-align their priorities for the year to come.

During the wintertime and especially during the month of December many college students find a long winter break that gives them the opportunity to rest from their studies, allowing them to re-charge their batteries and to prepare for the second half of each year of academic study. While this time of tranquil rest is general for every university student, the manner in which students enjoy the break is different for each one. Below, we will explain some of the things that students do to enjoy their winter break.

Spending Time with Family
The wintertime is a moment in which families get together and, for many, families have members that come in from out of town, especially for Christmas and New Year. Christmas and the New Year apart from Easter that comes during the springtime is a rare time of year that is extremely special when it comes to spending time with loved ones. In one of our writers’ families, for example, loved ones come into town from various parts of the United States – such as Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, and Washington. In consideration of the special moments that families can enjoy by being together, we understand that college students choose to take advantage of this time to spend with all their family members.

Vacationing with Family and/or Friends
Whether it be for just a few days to a few weeks, many college students really find rest during winter break by taking vacations – whether it be with family or with friends; as this time of year is only one of two moments in which students can enjoy a vacation from their academic study – no pun intended – there is no better way to get away from it all than by enjoying a relaxing vacation away from home. Though sometimes it isn’t exactly relaxing and the itinerary can be full of many activities. In the United States, most students that do take vacations usually visit other places in and around the U.S., but others – such as one of our writers’ brothers and his girlfriend choose to visit other countries. Dominic, our writer’s brother, chose to take a two-week vacation with his girlfriend to Greece which turned out to be a moment of a lifetime.
